Clever’s Candy & Events began with a simple love: stories. E. Brooks, our young founder, has always loved books—from holding them as a baby to writing her very first story at only four years old. What started as a fun challenge from her mom quickly became a published children’s book, and the spark of creativity only grew from there.

As Brooks got older, she realized she didn’t just want to tell stories—she wanted to create in all kinds of ways. That’s when jewelry making, painting, and designing entered the picture… and the dream began to take shape.
